Welcome Connector

networking with intention

One Golden Goose

Thank you for taking the time to meet and have a sit-down. You are now stepping into the role of Connector. A trusted professional who helps bridge meaningful introductions to the right Single Point of Contact (SPOC). This page outlines what happens next, what your role looks like, and how we support you.

🥚What Your Opportunity is as a Connector

As a Connector, you are not selling, pitching, or qualifying services. Your value is your relationships and insight.

Your role is to:

  • Identify people in your network who may be a strong SPOC fit.
  • Make warm, credibility-based introductions.
  • Help open the door.

Introductions are a precious commodity. We treat them that way.

🥚What Is a SPOC?

A Single Point of Contact (SPOC) is the professional who consistently encounters people at the exact moment they need help.

Examples may include (but are not limited to):

  • Attorneys (probate, elder law, divorce)
  • HR Directors or Benefits Managers
  • Senior living or care managers
  • Financial advisors or fiduciaries
  • Other trusted advisors in influential positions

Reflect on Your Network

Who regularly sees people at moments of transition?

Who do you trust and respect professionally?

Who already comes to you with problems or questions?

Your role is to connect

Bridge The Introduction

Your role is simply to connect. This may be as easy as making an email introduction, suggesting a brief coffee or call, or framing the connection as a value-based conversation. We provide the language, positioning, and structure to support you, so the introduction feels natural, professional, and never awkward or uncertain.

TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR CONNECTORS

Golden Goose Training

Training is practical

You are not expected to figure this out on your own. We provide additional training and resources to help you.

Learn to get SPOC to lean into your questions and invitation. Learn to ask the right questions to get the sit-down. We help you turn a short visit into a meaningful conversation.

  • Understand how to position the conversation.
  • Introduce the concept clearly and confidently.
  • Avoid common missteps that slow momentum.
  • Feel comfortable explaining “why this matters.”

This is about people helping people through trusted relationships. You are not being asked to convince anyone or pursue outcomes. Your role is simply to open a door and make a thoughtful introduction. There is no rush, and there is no quota. When someone comes to mind, we are ready to support the introduction and guide the process forward. Thank you for being part of something intentional, relational, and meaningful.
